Day 1: From Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park

Our adventure begins bright and early as we depart from Kampala or Entebbe at 7am. Buckle up and get ready for an unforgettable journey! Our first stop takes us to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where we’ll embark on a thrilling foot safari to track wild white rhinos.

There’s something truly magical about being on foot in the African wilderness, surrounded by towering trees and the sounds of nature. As we track these magnificent creatures, keep your senses sharp—you never know what surprises await around the next bend.

After our exhilarating rhino encounter, we’ll refuel with a delicious lunch at Ziwa before continuing our journey to Murchison Falls National Park. As the sun begins to set, we’ll arrive at our basic but cozy retreat for the night, Red Chilli Restcamp. After a hearty dinner, it’s time to rest up for the adventures ahead.

Day 2: Exploring the Wilds of Murchison Falls National Park

Today is all about immersing ourselves in the natural wonders of Murchison Falls National Park.

Morning Game Drive and Breakfast at Hippo Pool

Fuel up with a packed breakfast at 6.30am before we set off on an exciting game drive through the park. Keep your cameras ready as we hope to spot the rest of the Big 5 in their natural habitat. Our breakfast stop at the Hippo Pool offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy a meal surrounded by the sights and sounds of the African bush.

Afternoon Adventure: Boat Cruise or Game Drive

After lunch and a relaxing break back at Red Chilli Restcamp, the adventure continues! Choose between an afternoon game drive or a scenic boat cruise along the River Nile to the base of the Falls. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles, hippos, and the graceful movements of elephants as we explore the rich biodiversity of this iconic landscape.

Day 3: From Murchison Falls to Masindi

Our last day in Murchison Falls National Park promises even more excitement and adventure.

Morning Game Drive and Visit to the Top of the Falls

Start the day with a packed breakfast at 6.30 am before we embark on one last game drive through the park. Take in the sights and sounds of the African savannah as we search for wildlife and enjoy the beauty of the sunrise. This is also the last chance to spot the animals that we might still have missed.

No visit to Murchison Falls is complete without a visit to the top of the falls. Prepare to be awed by the sheer power and beauty of this natural wonder as the Nile River crashes through a narrow gorge.

After our morning adventures, we’ll say farewell to Murchison Falls National Park and head to Masindi. But don’t worry, the adventure isn’t over yet! We’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at Hotel Masindi, the oldest hotel in Uganda, before retiring for the night at the New Court View Hotel in Masindi.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Return to Kampala

Our final day of the trip promises an exciting adventure as we delve into the heart of nature near Budongo Forest in search of our closest relatives—the chimpanzees.

Early in the morning, between 6 and 6.30 am we’ll set out into the where every moment brings us closer to encounters with these playful primates. Keep your senses attuned to the rustling of leaves and the echoing calls as we navigate through this pristine habitat. It’s a captivating experience that promises memories to last a lifetime.

After our exhilarating chimpanzee trek, we’ll gather for a leisurely breakfast and a chance to refresh ourselves at the hotel. As we bid farewell to the natural wonders of Murchison Falls National Park, take one last look at the breathtaking landscapes of Uganda, etching the memories of our adventures into our hearts.
